The African Archaeology Group showcases leading edge Africanist Archaeological Research from across the continent and all periods from the Early Stone Age to Contemporary Heritage. We invite speakers from the continent, the UK and globally to share their latest data, analyses and ideas from the field to lab. Our Hybrid Seminars run from 13.00-14.30 on Tuesdays during Michaelmas and Lent terms and upcoming events can be found below. We also run various other events through the year, including in celebration of African Heritage Day.
