Biography

I received my undergraduate degree in Landscape Archaeology with a specialization in GIS at the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam. Working with the Barcın Höyük excavation and UrbanOccupationsOETR projects during my graduate studies at Koç University (MA 2018) in Istanbul, I gained an interest in Computational Methods in Archaeological Research and Digital Humanities. Currently I am pursuing my PhD at the University of Glasgow in Geospatial Data Science focussing on Population and Transport Modelling using Historical Maps.

Research

Interested in Geo-information, Cartography, Geospatial Data Science and Data Visualisation for Archaeology and Digital Humanities Research.
