I am an Affiliated Lecturer of the Department of Archaeology and Anthropology in Cambridge, Director of Studies and Tutor at Hughes Hall, and the University Moderator for Archaeology at the Institute of Continuing Education.

I studied for a BA in Archaeology and Anthropology at Cambridge (1996), followed by an MPhil in Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing (1997). My PhD was on the use of GIS and visualisation techniques for understanding the Neolithic landscape of the area of Brittany around Carnac.

My research interests focus on approaches to understanding the prehistoric landscapes of Northwest Europe. Research projects include integrating important nineteenth-century records of southern Brittany with survey and remote sensing data; exploring new airborne survey techniques for understanding prehistoric landscapes in Ireland (Loughcrew) and the analysis of field walking results from Denmark (Als Project).
