for Archaeology

The Department of Archaeology, University of Cambridge has been ranked 1st in the world for Archaeology in the QS World University Rankings

This year marks the 20th edition of the QS World University Rankings and features over 1,500 institutions across 104 locations. Three new metrics have been introduced into their methodology this year: Sustainability, Employment Outcomes and International Research Network.

Cambridge has retained its 2nd place overall, and the Department of Archaeology retains its leading position for Archaeology.

The QS Rankings are compiled annually to help prospective students identify the world's leading universities in specific subjects. The rankings incorporate various criteria, along with the results of major global surveys of employers and academics. More on the methodology used can be found on the QS website.
